Description: |
Spring-loaded hinged jaws which are closed with a bolt and wing-nut form an adjustable nut wrench on the end of an all-metal hammer. Some well-preserved examples show "PAT MAY 29, 1866" adjacent to the pivot bolt.
Similar styled jaws on a shank with "triangular hang hole" appear on a wrench marked "PAT 1866." |
