| Description: | | The patent is for the holder; the tools within the holder are are described as "a series of flat blades" in the specifications, but are clearly shown as wrenches in the drawings.
Perram was also assignee for patent no. 1,001,530 for a nearly identical wrench set.
A set holder similar to this but with a slightly different tightening screw arrangement appears in ads for the "BECCO" set produced by the Beck Company of Rockville Centre, NY.
The TWIN-GRIP set as marketed ca. 1910 also used a cam-lever clamp set holder closely resembling L.V. Aronson's June 20, 1911 patent (no. 995,837). | |
