DUYCKINCK 1877 price list -- A.G. COES & LINDSAY (FLICKR)

|
| Description: | | The patent is for a threaded collar that attaches the ferule to the wrench shank, and "flanges" on the interior of the ferule for the collar to bear on. See also patent 180,417. The "jog" on the back side of the bar shown in the drawings is not mentioned in the specifications, having evolved from an earlier Richard patent (RE4,450) . This style A.G. Coes & Co. wrench is shown in an 1877 Duyckinck (New York) catalog. The patent also factored in the complicated "COLLINS v. COES" patent litigation. | |
