Description: |
| The wrench shank is six-sided; the sliding movable jaw has a slightly oblique hole, so that as pressure is applied to the jaw face, the sides of the hole bind against the sides of the wrench shank. A retaining pin keeps the jaw from sliding off the shank.
A malleable iron "sliding wedge lock" wrench marked J.W. BREWSTER has been suggested as matching this patent. |
