        Description: |
| The movable jaw has a cylindrical "heel" which slides inside the main shank. The adjustment is accomplished by a screw shaft fixed to the rotatable handle, which engages threads cut inside the "heel" of the movable jaw. According to an 1866 "Scientific American" listing cited in Ken Cope's "American Wrench Makers 1830-1930," T.J. Hennessey produced this wrench. |
