| Description: | | The adjustable sliding jaw has teeth engaging a rack on the main shank, springs to hold the teeth in engagement, and pins sliding a center slot in the shank which keep the jaw from sliding off the shank, and serve as a pivot for rocking the jaw for purposes of adjustment. Because the rack engaging teeth in the movable jaw are on opposite sides of the central slot, the slot is at an oblique angle to the jaw surface. | |
