Description: |
A box joint is formed by casting one half of the tool around a bulging center core to form a hole through which the other member can be slid, and afterwards flattening the bulges to form a joint. A hole drilled through the two members and a rivet to secure the members complete the joint.
The specifications disclaim any application to wrenches or similar tools where this principle was already patented. |
