| Description: | | Keystone Mfg. Co. used this patent and Myers's earlier patent (no. 288,098) for the NONPAREIL ratchet wrench / ratchet drill. The parallel adjustable jaws and the odd shaped drill holder are distinctive. The ratchet is shown in pictures #153 and #154 in "Antique and Unusual Wrenches" by Schulzes.
Parallel patent #'s 446,072 and 446,075 show alternate tool holders with Myers's earlier patent no. 288,098 ratchet. British patent GB-189102449 registered Feb. 19, 1891 addresses these under the general rubric of "combination tool-holder." | |
