| Description: | | The curve of the fixed jaw and the curved and straight edges of the swinging jaw are proportioned so that the jaws make three points of contact with any round object that are within its range of sizes. The patent claims the bifurcated hook jaw and the "eccentric cam head." The wrench is noted in Kenneth Cope's AMERICAN WRENCH MAKERS 1830-1930, and appears as #347 in ANTIQUE & UNUSUAL WRENCHES by Schulzes.
This patent was noted in the specifications for patent no. 187,928. | |
