| A spring-tensioned swinging auxiliary handle (called the "clamping lever" in the specifications) provides the nut-gripping surface within the box end. 
Produced with a single open end wrench on the end of the handle; a contemporary ad lists three sizes: 7/8 inch, 1 inch and 1 1/8 inch.
