        Description: |
| A handle comprised of flat chain links has interchangeable heads that connect with a pin or cotter key. Produced as the "Snake Handle Wrench." A regional hardware wholesale catalog listing is evidence how it was marketed.
The handle as produced terminated in a 1/2" square driver shank for sockets rather than the "hang hole" segment shown in the patent drawing.
A "modern" interpretation of the idea received patent 6,412,374 on July 2, 2002. |
