Claim:
It is the object of our invention to provide new and improved speed-changing mechanism for machinery of the class described and awide range of changes for such speed changing mechanism and to provide speed-changing mechanism comprising primary speed changing mechanism embracing a cone of gears and tumbler-gearing meshing with the respective gears of the cone, secondary speed changing mechanism embracing clutch-engaged gearing and intermediate gears therefor, and tertiary speed-changing mechanism embracing auxiliary gearing for the latter, whereby the range of variations in speed is materially increased. |  |
