Stan Schulz BLACKHAWK 4 in 1 Rim Wrench (FLICKR)
|
Description: |
A brace-type wrench with rotating head bearing four sockets matching common demountable rim clamp-bolt sizes. The distinctive feature is the sleeve holding the rotating head can slide back so the end of the brace handle holds the rotating head for the selected size. This arrangement allows the brace handle to also be used as a lever handle if necessary.
Produced as the BLACKHAWK No.5504 rotating head brace wrench with sockets to fit Model T Ford applications, and as the BLACKHAWK 4 IN 1 RIM WRENCH. The handle grips on the sweep and end of the wrenches in photo nos. 2 and 3 are covered by pat. no. 1,574,136. |
