| Description: | | The combination is based on a stamped steel multiple sized open end and hex box wrench. It includes a slide-out screwdriver, and a spoke clamp integrated into the wing-nut which holds the screwdriver bit in place.
Torkelson had a number of patents assigned to Iver Johnson -- for all kinds of hardware items. Patent nos. 391,210 through 391,214 are Torkelson patents for bicycle and firearms components.
Ken Cope's "American Wrench Makers 1830-1930" posits Iver Johnson produced the wrench based on the assignment. | |
