| A stamped steel wrench comprised of two halves pivoted to fold, and with slots and a sliding bolt to hold the halves in folded or extended position.
The tool was announced to the trade in fall, 1911 as a set of four in leather case. One 1911 write-up gives the range of sizes and notes the openings include a "gas tank key" (a.k.a. PREST-O-LITE KEY). A known example of a single wrench from a set is marked DUDLY TOOL CO. PAT. APLD. FOR. |
