| Description: | | This is a very early patent for sectional feed-rollers. It uses rubber disks with a metallic covering to provide a springy axial movement of the sections. The inventor was majority owner of the carriage-making firm of S. N. Brown & Co. It is possible that this was licensed to a woodworking machinery maker but we have not been able to confirm or deny this. | |
