Description: |
| The movable jaw is attached to a central slide with threaded edges. The internal surface of the handle is threaded; turning the handle adjusts the jaw.
A similar design produced by the Augusta Wrench Company has the movable jaw sliding in a slot in the frame, and moved by a threaded rod attached to the handle. The relevant patents are 325,942 and 376,891. |
