| Description: | | Improvement on patent no. 397,954. The paired rollers are linked by a curved strap so the distance between them does not change. The rollers in tapered recesses form non-marring gripping surfaces for pipe. The movable jaw adjusts by a turnbuckle type screw adjustment.
Corresponding Canadian patent no. CA-31,613 was granted June 18, 1889. | |
