Description: |
Small adjustable wrench comprised of two stamped pieces with their relationship adjusted with a turnbuckle type connection. The two stampings have tabs which are lapped over to hold the two stampings together. The patent specifications include steps in the manufacturing process.
Corresponding Canadian patent no. CA-52,837 was issued July 7, 1896.
Produced as the IMPROVED LOVELL BICYCLE WRENCH, with a different style of adjustment screw than that shown in the patent. (see 2nd & 3rd images). |
