| Description: | | The fixed jaw and upper portion of the shank have gripping teeth. The adjustment is held by a gripping plate within the movable jaw that can be engaged or disengaged with rack teeth on the main shank by a steep pitched screw attached to a thumb-operated lever on the outside of the movable jaw. A spring tends to return the lever to the position where the adjustment is set. | |
