H.B. Todd advertised the MERIDEN NIPPER in hardware trade journals. A Nov. 11, 1893 THE METALWORKER items tells us Todd sold the manufacturing business to Proudman Bros., Meriden, CT. In answer to a 1940 query, HARDWARE AGE noted Todd Nippers were made by T.D. Hotchkiss Co., Meriden, CT. |
