"Two iron side boxes vertically pivoted to a central one, the whole formed of upper and lower halves bolted together; in each is a pinion on a horizontal axis; the device to be placed at the apex of a triangular frame. Motion given to the central pinion by a rod passed into it from gearing on a front bearing-wheel. Other rods passed into the side pinions give rotation to the seed-cup boxes on the side of the frame and permit angular adjustment." |
