Description: |
A cam lever on the movable jaw forces a plate with gripping teeth to mesh with rack teeth on the main shank to hold the adjustment. The cam lever and gripping plate are interconnected so that releasing the cam lifts the plate to prevent wear on the teeth as the jaw moves.
