Description:

This machine was written up in an 1849 issue of "Scientific American", which gave its manufacturer as N. Hunt & Co. It is seen in an 1858 catalog from J. A. Fay & Co., but we believe that in this case J. A. Fay & Co. was a reseller rather than a manufacturer.
