Description: |
| The rotating collar has inner teeth for a quarter of its interior diameter; the remainder is smooth. The teeth on the shank engage with those teeth to hold adjustment, and a quarter turn of the collar frees the movable jaw to slide for quick adjustment. A stop limits the collar to that quarter turn.
Corresponding U.S. patent no. 589,166 was issued August 31, 1897. |
