The 1893-10-05 The Iron Trade Review, page 11, in an article on the new 80-inch radial drill from the Aurora Tool Works, mentions its "patent automatic stop", which is provided by this patent; see patent 513,128 for more confirmation of the connection between the inventor and the Aurora Tool Works. The aforementioned article also says, "The patent automatic stop shown herewith may be applied to the 24, 28, and 40-inch uprights drills manufactured by the Aurora Tool Works to their their 80-inch drill." Three illustrations show this mechanism in more detail. |
