Description: |
| Steep pitch thread on the adjusting screw allows the movable jaw to move freely when fine teeth on a "collar" at the base of the adjusting screw are freed from contact with teeth in the socket which normally holds the "collar." The shank of the adjusting screw extends to a block which slides along side the handle. Pushing on the block compresses the spring which holds the "collar" in the socket. |
