| Description: | | Patented in the U. S., #4,109,309 & in Canada, CA-1,106,974.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for displaying an analog signal appearing in the circuit of a machine tool. The method comprises the steps of converting the analog signal into a sequence of digital signals each representing the instantaneous amplitude of the analog signal at a corresponding time, this conversion being performed at the location of the machine tool, transmitting this signal sequence Digital at said remote location; Converting said sequence of digital signals into an approximation of the analog signal and applying said approximation of the analog signal to the analog display device to display thereon. | |
