Description: |
| A sliding pivoted portion serves as the "closing link." A second pivoted piece acts as a latch to hold the pin in the closed position.
Corresponding Canadian patent CA-50519 shows Morganfield assigning the patent to W. Irving Cormany of Kansas City, KS.
Known examples marked "CORMANY MFG. Co. CHICAGO, ILL. // PAT. OCT. 23, 94" have an extra curve in the "body." Advertised in farm trade journals as "Combination Clevis and Pin;" a version including a swivel slip hook was also shown. |
