Description: |
"This invention relates to a machine for cutting metallic blanks or bodies... The objects of my invention are to provide a metal-working machine, which will be equally well adapted for performing the work of turning, gear-cutting, and boring metals..."In June 1887 the Providence Saw Company, also known as the Providence Saw & Tool Works, changed its name to the Union Machine Company. Under the latter name they apparently made paper machinery. We have found no evidence that this combination metalworking machine was manufactured. |
