| Hinged "arms" with arched shape close as a slide is moved toward the pivot. The "arms" are held in contact with the slide by a spring. "Alligator wrench" version with toothed jaws for pipe and smooth jawed version for nuts are shown and noted in the specifications. Improved by patent no. 776,598. |
