Nova Scotia (NS) patents were issued between 1834 and 1867, when they joined with Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick to form the Dominion of Canada.No patent drawing. "The spirit level is rectangular sock about 12 inches long with a common tube or spirit level on the upper side, the side being divided into squares with the quadrant and degrees marked thereon... a moveable index is fastened to the side and a tube or telescope and sight vane to the top with a graduated scale to give the rise or fall..." |
