        Description: |
|
This patent covers a new type of construction for
"Continental-pattern" double gages of the type favored by the
	 German and Dutch carpenters.
This gage uses a metal shell covering a thin wood head, and using
the double-wedge locking system common to these type of
gages. This construction would be very strudy and cheap to
	 produce.
