Description:
An early tablesaw design. The blade is rotated by hand-crank; the saw-teeth point in the direction opposite to what is now usual, i.e., in this saw the front part of the blade rotates upwards, which tends to lift the stock and also self-feeds. The saw-teeth are designed to provide a controlled amount of self-feed, and a hold-down or roller prevents the stock from lifting.
