| Abstract:
The scroll D of a universal lathe chuck has its grooves composed of circular arcs D<2>, one for each jaw. The jaws G are adjustably fixed on slides E, the adjacent surfaces H being serrated. Sector plates J serve as guides for the slides which carry pivoted blocks F engaging the scroll grooves. The scroll is rotated by means of pinions B<2>. |
