| The design is to facilitate pulling a plow or other implement with three horses abreast, and to the left of the line of draft. The components include an off-center cross-clevis and a draft rod connecting the outer end of the cross-clevis to the plow beam. One or both of the side plates include a flange to support the draft-wheel. The patent includes a spring-pin.
