Abstract:
A burner for furnaces using gaseous or liquid fuel consists of a double casing a, a<2>, having inlets a<3>, a' for air and gas, vapour, or oil respectively. The supply of air can be regulated by the needle valve b, and the supply of gas, oil, or vapour by adjusting the mouthpiece c, which is secured in position by a locking-nut d. The conical front end of the rod b is made to project beyond the mouthpiece c. |
