Description: |
Abstract:
My improvement relates to that form of cane-mills having horizontal pressure-rollers, and to cane-mills having a feed-roller, a crushing-roller, and a delivery-roller arranged horizontally in triangular form, by which the cane is twice subjected to pressure in one passage through the mill, first between the feed-roller and the crushing-roller, and, second, between the delivery - roller and the crushing- roller. In my improvement the feed-roller and delivery-roller are above instead of beneath the crushing-roller, thereby securing an angle for presentation of the cane at a more convenient height.
Claim:
In a cane-mill, the combination of three pressure-rollers-namely, a feed-roller, a crushing- roller, and a delivery- roller arranged horizontally and in triangular form, with the feed-roller and the delivery-roller above the crushing- roller. |
