| Tray designed to keep objects from falling into the crankshaft during work on the 4th connecting rod bearing in Model T FORD engines. Fig. 1 of the drawings shows the tray in position in the engine. The tray and a later evolution are shown in a 1928 article about GLADACRES tools for maintenance and repair of FORD engines.
Corresponding Canadian patent CA-225,641 was granted Nov. 7, 1922. |
