Description:
This lathe chuck uses a toothed key to advance the ring gear and tighten the chuck. This patent was cited by the T. R. Almond Mfg. Co. in defending themselves against an accusation of infringing the Jacob drill-chuck patent, 709,014. Almond's patent infringement was blatant and their defense was unsuccessful.
