Description:
"In the rounding machines built up to the present day and used in watchmaking for refining the teeth of wheels when they are fixed on their axles, it was necessary to fix each moving part one after the other between the centers of the headstocks, present the part to the cutter, and wait until its rounding was finished before fixing a new one in place of the one that had just been completed. This method of working naturally resulted in a loss of time, which was generally compensated for by having the same worker operate two machines placed side by side and working alternately. The drawbacks of this method are well known.

"The machine that is the subject of this invention, compared to machines built to date, has, among other advantages, the ability to allow continuous operation and at least double the production without requiring the space of two machines. It is equipped with a revolver, preferably positioned so that while one moving part is in operation, another can be on the machine, the latter automatically replacing the first when it is finished."
