Description:
Clamping tool for sheet metal clips which form a protective sleeve on the ends of guy wires at the point they attach to ground anchors, etc. Typically used on "guy wire" cables supporting telephone, telegraph and electric poles, in conjunction with typical "U" shaped cable clamps. The clips were based on James R. Kearney patent no. 1,783,967, and the tool was sized to conform to standard clip sizes produced by the James R. Kearney Corporation (St. Louis).
