Description: |
| "Slidable jaw wrench" with adjusting nut on a shaft extending from the movable jaw. The nut engages a rack on the shank, and can be lifted free for quick adjustment. A coil spring in the movable jaw provides pressure to keep the nut and rack engaged.
Used by the Monarch Wrench Co. (St. Louis) for wrenches advertised to railroads in 1906. |
