Description: |
| The first patent noted by date on examples of CAROLUS nut and bolt clippers. A frame encloses the cutters. A fixed "knife" has cutting surfaces at right angles. Sliding knives are actuated by a head driven by cam-ended handles. Each of the sliding knives can be adjusted by a set screw.
The other patents are 710,182 and 790,617.
