Description:
Pipe vise which incorporates the adjustable jaw of a Stillson type pipe wrench as the adjustable jaw. Advertised in 1915 as the STILLSON VISE. One version shown in the drawings incorporates a "girth grip" for smooth pipe carried over from the Parmelee girth grip pipe wrench (see patent no. 871,436 and predecessors). Parallel patent 1,336,755 incorporates a complete pipe wrench rather than the adjustable jaw portion.
