Description:
The claims include a removable cap incorporating the spout, means to lock the pump lever when the can is not in use, the structure of the pump, and the structure of the connection between the can and cap. Parallel patent 1,401,161 describes a sealing cap for the tip of oil can spouts.

Lidseen's Positive Force Feed Oiler was widely advertised in 1920. Known examples marked LIDSEEN'S POSITIVE FORCE FEED OILER - CHICAGO - PATENTS APPLIED FOR do not include the pump lever locking feature.
