Description:
A fence is applied to a molding plane to act as a depth stop. The board is worked on edge in the vise and the fence (referred to as a gage) will cause the cutting action to cease once the work is complete. Inventor says he calls this "Fleming's self-regulating quarter-round and ogee molding tool.
