Description:
Provides for adjusting wrenches by aligning two matching "half-wards" and inserting a locking pin or key. The "half-wards" are spaced differently on the two mating segments forming the wrench, the spacing designed to result in openings corresponding to standard sizes.

The principle was refined and provides the adjusting means for the combination nut and pipe wrench in GB-190814296.
