| Description: | | An improvement on Bradley's June 24, 1873 patent (no. 140,111) for a malleable iron pliers type wrench. A known example matching this drawing, with a marking that appears to read "PATD JUNE 24 72" is shown as the 2nd image in the entry for 140,111.
Known examples marked with both patent dates, but with a nut and thread adjustment mechanism resembling the one shown in H.H. Hill's Aug. 6, 1878 patent (no. 206,733) possibly were made by some malleable iron foundry, with markings for a company that supplied wrenches with other equipment.
