| Openings in the frame provide guides to properly position knives, scissors or ice skates so they will be sharpened by pulling them across the abrading edge of the sharpening disk.
A sharpening disk and frame openings conforming to this patent were incorporated in the VICTOR multi-function household tool which has this patent date along with Aug. 12, 1902 -- Hawks' Can Opener patent no. 706,823. |
